SYNOPSIS: An unlikely “cast” of college-aged Improv actors hired to star in a reality tv show are abandoned in Europe when their shady production company goes bankrupt, forcing them to learn how to improvise together, both on-stage and off. Complete with hijinks, a heist, and heartfelt moments, the diverse group must find their own way across the continent to an international Improv festival, finding themselves along the way.

NOTE: We seek actors that are ensemble-based, adept with improv and comedy. Every effort will be made to have a cast that accurately represents our characters and is reflective of the world we live in with regard to race, size, ability, diversity, and gender identification.

Must be a Montreal/Quebec local.

SEEKING:

ATHLETE: Female, 20s-50s. Tall female shotputter on the Slovak national team. VERY muscular female athlete - the build of an olympic shotputter/bodybuilder, and an attitude to match. Proud and sassy. ACTOR FEATURED

ACCOUNTANT: BIPOC Any Gender, 30s-60s. A savvy, sassy, jaded finance deptartment boss who, lucky for them, does not work for Cooper directly but rather for Cooper's father - thus, unlike everyone else in the office, they wield a small amount of power and enjoy doing so. ACTOR FEATURED

TRAIN CONDUCTOR: 40s-60s Any Gender. Typically a happy go lucky, friendly person, the conductor is caught off guard by a tourist who sneaks onto the train without paying - a trick that sends the conductor into a tailspin, enraged by those who disrespect the rules in place while everyone else follows them! ACTOR FEATURED

MUSICIAN: 20s-30s BIPOC Female. A young musician with an easily recognizable, iconic look -- The musician is a familiar face to the cast. Everywhere in Europe they go, this person seems to be! Seeking actual musicians who can play multiple instruments (or at least act like they can!) ACTOR FEATURED

LOCAL TEEN: 18-20s Any Gender. Desperate, slimy, squirrely, and rough around the edges -- can look up to late 20s while still feeling young and hopeless. This kid has resorted to doing Dmitri's bidding to get by - looking for a real character actor who can portray a thief, a smart individual who knows how to take advantage of tourists... especially when they put all of their valuables in one easy place. SPEAKS A FEW LINES OF AN EASTERN EUROPEAN LANGUAGE. ACTOR FEATURED

DMITRI: Open ethnicity male, 50s. Estonian investor to Cooper Productions with mob boss vibes. The brains behind the operation, he creates a plan with Cooper to ensure he gets his money back... with the cast on the line to take the fall. He knows how to get what he wants and is not afraid to break a few fingers in the process. PRINCIPAL SUPPORTING

MICHELLE: BIPOC Female, 40s. Showrunner for the reality show. Works for Cooper till her bankruptcy. Starts a streaming company with Laurie and buys the Improv reality show.

PRINCIPAL SUPPORTING.

WAITER: Female. 30s-60s. Sassy server who is so over dealing with tourists. She rarely gets to inform a customer that their card has been declined, so this is a delight! MUST HAVE AN HUNGARIAN ACCENT. ACTOR FEATURED

SHOUTING AUDIENCE MEMBER: 30-45 years old, any gender. Improv audience member shouting out answers for the show. MUST HAVE EASTERN EUROPEAN ACCENT. ACTOR FEATURED

POLICE CAPTAIN: Male, 40s-60s. Eastern European. Takes his job seriously and means business, especially when he arrests the cast for "desecrating" a national monument. BUT he also loves American television, so much so that he may be easily duped if someone were to tell him he gets to be on reality TV... MUST HAVE EASTERN EUROPEAN ACCENT. PRINCIPAL FEATURED
