From four-time Emmy Award Winning “The Simpsons” writer Mike Reiss, and featuring music by Emmy Award Winning “Family Guy” composer Walter Murphy, comes the world-premiere of a hysterical new musical comedy: I HATE MUSICALS: THE MUSICAL.  When Alvin, an aging comedy writer with one last chance at a network meeting is trapped under a pile of rubble after an LA earthquake, his life turns into the very thing he hates the most: a musical.  Toss in a few visits from dead relatives, ex-wives, and complete strangers like Sigmund Freud, and you get a show like nothing you’ve ever seen before!

Subject Line: I Hate Musicals [ALVIN]

SEEKING:
ALVIN – A down-on-his-luck, 53 year-old TV comedy writer. Recently
divorced, filter-less, and EMMY-less, he always seems to crap out in
the Hollywood game of dice. An oddly lovable curmudgeon, driven by a
simple passion to do what he loves and make people laugh. Gets trapped
under a pile of debris at the top of the second scene, and stays there
for most of the rest of the show. A character that hates musicals, his
bad luck culminating in the fact that his life, while trapped, turns
into one.
